Bore’s Corner Speed Bearing Set
Eliminate binding/dragging from front
hub bearing, during cornering with “E-Z Bore’s” Bearings Load Set. These
bearings have been designed to handle side load and pick up the job where your
standard ball bearing starts to give up.
If there is any question about the loading of spindles, simple look
at the latest chassis design where now, the right spindle shaft is 3/4”
diameter on the inner bearing and 5/8” diameter on the outer bearing.
Ball bearings by design, handle linear loads better than side loads.
A good example is a worn bearing that free spins well. Take that same bearinggand start to apply side pressure and
now suddenly that bearing starts to feel rough.
In competitive kart racing the trend over the last few years has
been to eliminate bearing drag and this E-Z Bore Bearing Set will eliminate
side load binding, which occurs during cornering.
Our bearings offer smaller outside diameters so that contact is only
made on the inner race and not the outer bearing race or hub body.
The E-Z Bore Bearing Set can be installed in a matter of minutes and
may require removal of 3/4” spindle spacers after installation. Bearings will
require periodic maintenance. We recommend cleaning and lubricating with
Tri-Flow after each race weekend.
